The soccer department of TSV Ingenried - organized by the department management around Simon Erhard and Michael Kögel - has announced a running week under the motto “werunagainstcorona”.
All active players in the senior teams were invited to take part.
Only runs of at least five kilometers and a maximum running time of seven minutes per kilometer were counted.
Ingenried
- the aim was to run as many kilometers as possible and thus collect as much money as possible for a good cause - and of course to motivate the athletes to keep fit despite the current restrictions.
The footballers were not deterred by the sometimes bad weather and the cold and ran a total of 1394 kilometers, which corresponds to a donation of 1394 euros.
This money is made available by some local companies that have already been won as sponsors in advance.
Of the money, 555 euros each go to the Diakonisches Werk Bayern for the “Immediate Corona Aid for People in Need in Bavaria” campaign and to the Tabaluga Children's Foundation.
The remaining 284 euros will remain in the association and will be invested in youth work.
