Maha Houria from the Technical Office of the Municipality of Ain Tarma indicated that the poles and cables were severely damaged and burned, indicating that three transformers were installed at the beginning in coordination with the electricity in Damascus countryside, while the number of transmission centers currently reached 15 centers, which contributed to the increase of the number of residents returning to their homes from 15 thousand people to 70 thousand people.

On drinking water, she confirmed that 13 water pumps have been installed, and after the improvement of the electricity situation, the pumping will take place for longer hours, pointing to the purchase of transformers to pump drinking water for the people, and three licenses have been granted to distribute gas.

The school sector is one of the most important sectors that have been focused on because most of the schools were destroyed by terrorism, and in coordination with the Directorate of Education in Damascus Countryside, 4 schools were restored, accommodating 6 thousand students, according to the director of Amira Muhammad Al-Akhal School, who confirmed to SANA’s delegate that the educational reality has gone through difficult circumstances as a result of the war. However, after the liberation, the teaching situation improved, expressing its hope to accelerate the completion of the rehabilitation of the rest of the schools and increase the number of teaching and educational staff to alleviate the pressure of students in the classroom.

Citizens praised the efforts made by all parties to restore life to normal in Ein Tarma, as citizen Ahmed Shaban pointed out that the service conditions in Ein Tarma began to gradually improve immediately after its liberation, but he demanded more support for the sanitation sector.

The municipality implemented many services, but Ain Tarma still needs a lot of support to remove the entire destruction, relocate it, re-asphalt and pave the roads, according to citizen Muhammad Juha.
