Caused Tai Lam Chung to find Shek Pik Village

In the 1950s and 1960s, the handicraft industry was taking off.

Therefore, on the south slope of Qiang Mountain, east of Dalang Village, and west of Shuikou Peninsula, a dam was built at the mouth of the valley and moved to the villages of Shibi, Fumbei, Gangbei and Kengzai villages that originally lived in the valley. After leaving, Fumbei Village was moved to the new site of Dalang Village.

The construction of this reservoir has also brought the greatest benefit to the entire Lantau Island. It is the use of the dyke as the transportation linking the entire South Lantau, Qiangshan, and Ngong Ping.
