Today, South Korea recorded more than 400 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The South Korean Yonhap News Agency quoted the Central Headquarters for Disaster and Safety Measures as saying that 416 new cases of corona were detected, including 399 local ones, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 92,471, and the total deaths to 1634, after two deaths from the virus were recorded.
In preemptive efforts to contain mass infections, Prime Minister Jong Se-gyun said earlier today that the government will enhance the capacity for testing the Corona virus to 500,000 people a day.
