The Minister of Interior, Major General Muhammad Khaled Rahmoun, discussed with Dr. Ramzi Musharrafia, Minister of Social Affairs and Tourism in the Lebanese caretaker government, and his accompanying delegation, ways to enhance cooperation for the safe and easy return of all Syrian refugees to their homeland.
Minister Al-Rahmoun confirmed the Ministry's readiness to provide all facilities to secure the return of refugees to their homeland, starting from receiving them at the border centers, providing transportation means for them, and obtaining personal documents for those missing from the border centers, regardless of the procedures against them, and facilitating the registration of children born outside Syria and leaving the freedom of entry or return to the coming citizens and their right Certain procedures and giving those who failed to join the military service a time limit for reviewing the people for their recruitment.
In turn, Musharrafieh pointed out that work is underway at the present time to overcome all obstacles to the return of Syrian refugees and to strengthen joint cooperation in this regard, indicating that efforts are continuing to persuade the Western community to help refugees return to their motherland, Syria.
