The Ministry of Public Health opened these new groups according to the numbers of people who registered during this week and did not do so, which is estimated at 3.3%

of about 63,000 people.

In that sense, the Deputy Minister of Public Health of that country, José Luis Satdjian, told the press last Friday that if the person signed up and did not attend to be vaccinated,

they cannot reschedule

and pass a second instance that will be by age.

He explained that after four days of starting the vaccination process, 53% of the teachers, 65% of the officials of the Ministry of Defense and 47% of the Ministry of the Interior have been immunized.

He stressed that his country has the capacity to vaccinate

more than 30,000 people per day.

there are 72,642 people vaccinated

, the president, Luis Lacalle Pou, and the Minister of Public Health, Daniel Salinas, spoke during the week about the advance of vaccination, which is progressing at a "slower" rate than expected. .

For the Uruguayan president, the "idle capacity" should have been filled.

For his part, Salinas reported on his Twitter account

that he was scheduled to be vaccinated this Monday.

"When I opened the age group that corresponds to me, I signed up and next Monday at 8:30 I will be putting my arm.

In my case the Sinovac laboratory

," he published.

Of the total vaccinated, 43,230 are women and 29,400 are men, according to data from the Ministry of Public Health.

The vaccination centers opened their doors last Monday

to administer 192,000 doses of the Chinese CoronaVac vaccine to police, military, firefighters, teachers and workers of the Institute for Children and Adolescents (INAU) under 60 years of age.
