Vaccine vaccines will arrive today (Sunday) at educational institutions all over the country in order to encourage teaching staff, education staff and students over the age of 16 who have not yet been vaccinated, to be vaccinated against the corona virus.

This move is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health, in coordination with local authorities, designed to increase the number of vaccinated among education staff and students aged 16 and over.

The move is to reduce the morbidity rate in the country and maintain a continuous and safe study routine.

For the purpose of carrying out the vaccination, separate halls or dedicated classrooms will be allocated in the schools, and the queues for receiving the vaccine will be determined according to the number of vaccinators, and divided into capsules according to the guidelines.

The condition for administering the vaccines to students under the age of 18 is the parents' consent.

According to the guidelines, even if the parents have given their consent, but the student refuses to be vaccinated - he will not be vaccinated.

Education Minister Yoav Galant announced last night that 76% of education staff hold the "green mark" after completing the second vaccine or recovering from the virus.

An additional 15% were vaccinated only in the first dose.

By Passover, the "green label" will be awarded to a large part of 280,000 teachers, kindergarten teachers and teaching staff.

Galant intends to later demand the cancellation of the capsules in grades 11-12 in order to allow more school hours in high schools and middle schools that returned this morning to school for only four to ten hours a week.
