The conservative French deputy
Olivier Dassault
, son of the businessman of the homonymous industrial group Serge Dassault,
died this Sunday at the age of 69
in a helicopter accident, as confirmed by the authorities.
"Olivier Dassault loved France. Captain of industry, deputy, councilor, commander in the Air Force reserve: throughout his life, he never stopped serving our country.
His brutal death is a great loss,
" the president wrote on Twitter French Emmanuel Macron confirmed the news.
The son of the famous industrialist, who died in 2018 at the age of 93, occurred this Sunday
near the town of Tourques
, in the Calvados department, west of Paris.

The pilot was also traveling in the plane, who, according to the newspaper Le Parisien, would have lost his life in the accident on this private flight.
The circumstances in which the impact took place have not yet transcended.
Olivier Dassault was
the eldest of four brothers
and was known particularly for his political career in the conservative Republican party, for which he was currently a deputy for the department of Oise, located between the cities of Paris and Amiens.
