They spent a week together in Santa Clara del Mar. They did not go on vacation but to do painting work and cut the grass in several houses in that seaside resort.
But this weekend something happened between them in the room they shared in a hostel.
Only one returned to Mar del Plata: former boxer

Leiva appeared with his lawyer, Mauricio Varela, at the DDI in Mar del Plata.
The former boxer's family insisted that he do so despite his condition.

As he could, Leiva hinted to those around him that he
had killed his partner in the room
they shared at the Santa Clara inn.
It was his lawyer who explained to the police that the former boxer claimed to have participated during the weekend "in an act of blood" and provided information about the place where the alleged victim could be.
The case fell to the Mar Chiquita prosecutor Ramiro Anchou, who immediately ordered
an inspection at the Hostería Atlántida
, located a few meters from the RP11 and a little over a kilometer from the Santa Clara bus terminal.
When they arrived at the scene, according to the sources consulted, “
the victim's feet could be seen from the window
of the room and the prosecutor asked the Scientific Police.
The owner of the place said that he thought that both had left: they did not notice anything ”.
After the tests in the inn, the body was transferred to the morgue, where this Monday they performed an autopsy to try to establish the causes and the date of death: he would have been

Meanwhile, Leiva, who has not yet been investigated by Prosecutor Anchou, was
transferred to Unit No. 44 in Batán
, accused of "homicide."
The former boxer's lawyer requested
psychological assistance
for his client and that they do a
blood test
to determine the possible consumption of narcotics, due to the state of "confusion" in which he found him and the inaccuracies of his account regarding the situation in the that the crime occurred.
