There are about two weeks left until the March 2021 elections, and we are witnessing the continued stagnation of the political system.

Against the background of the rise of the right-wing party in the polls and on the occasion of Women's Day, we spoke this morning (Monday) in "Bardugo on the Morning", the new podcast of "Israel Today", with former Justice Minister, number 2 on the right-wing list, Ayelet Shaked.

"I think today there is a place for Women's Day. While there are women pioneers in senior positions, in the health care system, in the economy, there are still gaps in the private sector - women get less than men."

Shaked added that "what really bothers me is that they canceled Mother's Day."

How did you feel that during the day you would tear off your sign from Azrieli Towers?

"I'm sorry they took it down, because we bought this sign for two weeks. They chose that they did not want political content, even though Michaeli stayed for another day and only thanks to your publicity did they take down her sign as well. To this day I did not understand why they took it down."

Regarding the election, did you end up with the right?

MK Lapid stated that everything is talk, and in the end you will connect together with Lieberman, Saar and Lapid and make a parent with the joint.

"It will not and will not be!

Maybe it's Lapid's wish.

He admitted yesterday (Sunday) that he will not be prime minister.

We will not sit under it.

Lapid is prime minister only in Netanyahu's campaign.

We will not sit in a government that relies on the common. "

If so, are Lapid's things sucked out of the finger?

Are they false things?

"Yes, he may have lied. It's his private imagination. We have said everywhere that we will not sit on a joint list. And we will not sit under a torch. There are 80 seats to the right today, so the prime minister should be on the right."

You say that Gideon and Lapid will not be prime minister - which creates an analysis that it is Bibi or Bennett - a bit megalomaniacal for those who will hold 10 seats.

"First, we are 12 seats and with positive momentum. Today there are 80 seats on the right and 70 seats that want change. Real change can be established here. Unrelated to the left. I want to mention that Netanyahu failed to form a government in three elections. Israel can not be an endless loop "Elections must be made - in education, in the economy."

Regarding the corona, Shaked claims that despite the vaccines - "Netanyahu's right point", No. 2 on the right claims that "the number of dead is not a kind of decree of the sky. Cyprus has other data. The corona could have been better managed. Israel as a non-Israelite country "Not a legend. If they wanted to, they would close the country."

"Ministers who know how to work solve problems. I do not think there is any need to hide behind legal advice."

As part of its election campaign, the right-wing party has published the "Singapore Plan" - its way of encouraging the Israeli economy.

According to Shaked, "Growth can be encouraged even without raising taxes. It's simple - when growth is encouraged, people buy more. In the end, when you want to work - it depends a lot on political abilities and forces."

And what about the Negev?

Is Bennett prime minister and defense minister instruct the IDF to conquer the Negev?

"

We lost the Negev.

The people there are afraid to walk down the street.

"Border forces must be brought in. We have lost the capabilities of the government."

"Bnei Gantz will not recommend anyone - he wants to maintain the rotation"

With two weeks left until the election, the political system is at a distance.

Daniel Roth-Avnery, the correspondent for the "Israel Today" party, throws a bomb in the air when, according to what is happening in the chambers, it seems that Bnei Gantz will not recommend any candidate for prime minister.

Benny Ganz says that Torch is the same one who hates people, but both he and Gideon attacked worthy people, but does not mention Bennett.

What is the strategy behind these sayings?

"I think blue and white has no strategy, their path changes daily and there is no uniform line. They try to position him as a state figure, the nice guy who gets along with everyone. I do not rule out the possibility that he will not recommend anyone. I mention there are rotation agreements in November.

Are you saying that Benny Gantz wants to come to November to maintain the rotation?

"He will deny such a thing, but in chambers I personally tell you that they are certainly aware of the matter, and want to see him as prime minister. It is hard to believe that there is this possibility, but it is quite possible that in November we will hear the conversation between us again - and that will be a reality."

Regarding the rise of Yesh Atid, Roth-Avnery says that "Lapid's silence is different from what we know. He barely speaks, so as not to upset - which reinforces the leader's mystery and tape cast. They fantasize about 24 seats."

Could there be a difference between the leadership and the party?

"Unequivocally yes. It stands out in a bad future. Lapid is the one who decides and decides, and his Knesset members sometimes do not know and are updated from the media on what is happening. It is a one-man party.

It's a terrible thing what you said, elected officials owe their debt not to the public but to the head of the party that appointed them.

"It's awful in a democracy, and every time I turn to Torch and ask why there are no primaries, he says it's a corrupt system."

As for the Meretz crash in the polls, and its drop below the blocking percentage, Roth-Avnery says that "Meretz's Guild campaign works. I talk to Labor voters and see an increase in seats - there is a slight abandonment of work for Meretz, people want to save it and see it inside."
