The past year has been an amazing year full of upheavals for me and my partner Nadav.

Exactly a year ago (10.3) we were in the delivery room just in time for the first closure and went on a Corona days maternity leave.

We spent most of it at home, with a minimum of communication with the outside world.

We were in a very big buzz after filming the show and suddenly everything was canceled.  

Three months later we were already starring almost every night in prime time on the winning kitchen show.

Suddenly there were thousands of messages and phone calls, there was a crazy demand that we did not know how to deal with until there was an offer of cooperation that can not be refused with Chef Yuval Ben Neria - who leads "Taizo", one of the most prestigious Asian restaurants in Israel.

Yuval became a mentor and helped us set up "Nadav and Daniel - A Thai Love Story".

The pop-up was an almost dizzying success, the reviews were great and we received countless amazing responses from the audience.

We are just a couple from the south who do Thai food, Tel Aviv was a thousand light years away from us.

And suddenly we fulfill ourselves, we were given as a gift the opportunity to do together what we love.

I am proud that we were able to produce authentic Thai dishes with precise and fresh flavors and stand out in the insane abundance offered by the shipping world.

The whole high standard of everything around: the raw materials, the branding, the packaging is an extraordinary experience.

You could say we jumped into the world of restaurants from scratch for a century.

On the personal side, I tried to understand how I manage to be both a mom and deal with success, with the fact that people constantly want a part of you.

I felt in the last year that I had lost myself, my Daniel, and only now am I starting to find my way back to me



I feel that without the relationship with Nadav I would not have made it.

It is a very masculine world, in most senior positions in kitchens men work.

Nadav allowed me to find my place at my own pace without feeling guilty because I am a mother and demand time at home with the girl.

In the end I am a mother first and foremost and that is the most important thing to me.

I had to rediscover myself before role definitions, both in parenting and within the restaurant world.

It's a process I've been going through all last year.

The beginning of the year started was a sign of convergence and today after a year I feel we have opened up to the world.

I get up in the morning in a place that is ours, I learn and manage to fulfill myself it is also very important.

In the coming year I hope to increase the family and at the same time continue to push forward and break my boundaries with myself and Nadav.

Reach as many people as possible because it is important to us that people get excited about our food.
