  • For this reason, the sponsoring association for youth and social work offers a podcast series

  • Interesting women speak about their lives

Geretsried / Lenggries - For International Women's Day this Monday, the sponsoring association for youth and social work (TVJA) is starting a podcast series.

Filiz Siviloglu from Lenggries can be heard in the opening sequence.

The mother of three runs the Johanniter children's home "Zwergenland" on Johannisplatz.

Because the festival on International Women's Day has to be canceled due to corona, the TVJA coordination office Integration Aktiv has organized some digital offers with the district management for the period from March 8 to 31.

For example, articles about Geretsried women are published on the Internet on Mondays under the motto “Let's talk women”.

“In our podcast series, we present impressive women from different parts of the city in different life situations and with different origins,” says co-organizer Hannah Schreyer.

Parents are from Turkey

Filiz Siviloglu will kick off.

Her parents are from Turkey.

She was born and raised in Germany.

After her secondary school leaving certificate, high school graduation and an educator training, she worked for a few years.

She then studied early and childhood education and day-care management management in Munich.

Schreyer: “Education and training are very important to her, as is a healthy level of self-confidence.

And the courage to just try something new and not put up with anything, to be independent. ”In addition, the audience learns how equality in Germany and also in Turkey has developed in the eyes of Lenggries.

As an extra in a series of lawyers

“I'm always open to things like that,” the 42-year-old explains her willingness to take part in the series of lectures.

She has been working in the Johanniter day-care center for almost two years, and her husband, with whom she is second married, runs the “Alpendöner” in Lenggries.

Siviloglu is also open to new things in other ways.

She was seen as an extra in an episode of a ZDF lawyer series.

“I didn't even ask my husband about that,” reveals the Lenggrieserin.

"He only found out afterwards." She also completed a moderator training course.

Nevertheless, the daycare manager sticks to traditions.

Siviloglu is a devout Muslim and wears a headgear.

“I like to wear my headscarf,” she says.

Her tip to other women and girls: “Have goals and courage.

Take care of yourself and be a role model, be it only for the neighbor or for yourself. Be proud of what you have achieved and have the courage to do something. "
