Five years ago, the Women’s Choir Gardenia, led by opera singer Ghada Harb, gave a concert that brought back to mind the songs of the old cartoon series badges, so that the choir returns and presents his experience again this evening entitled Love for All and Good for All on the opera stage of Dar Al Assad for Culture and Arts.
For an hour, the audience of the opera house enjoyed songs, most of them dating back to the eighties of the last century, to take the audience to a beautiful past and related to the childhood of many of them, with the meaningful and solid songs they carried with many beautiful memories during childhood and youth.
The badges of the cartoon films presented by Gardenia today in the manner of collective singing carried the refined musical sentence, the depth of the word, the beauty of the melody, the pure human feelings and the noble societal values of goodness, love, courage and dignity through the voices of 19 boys from the Gardenia choir accompanied by 13 academic musicians and pianist Rama Nasri while she worked on the musical arrangement of Safana Sparse.
And 7 additional songs from the previous concert program were added to the concert program, to present 18 songs in today's program. The program also featured documenting the names of Arab and foreign songwriters in the concert brochure.
As for the songs that were presented, they are Badrat Iftah Ya Sesame, Global Stories, Biru, Maymouna, Masoud, Adnan, Lina Basma, Abdo, Belle, Sebastian, Tom Sawyer, Fuluna, Sinan, Remy, Sasuke, Treasure Island, Lady Oscar, Iron Man, Grandizer and Junker, to conclude the evening with the end announcements for Sandy Bell.
In a statement by Sanaa, the opera singer Ghada Harb indicated that today's evening came at the request of the audience to repeat the evening program that was presented in 2016, and given the expiration date of the cards in the first hours of the announcement of the concert, it was decided to hold a second concert for tomorrow, expressing her happiness for the great turnout of the audience, which indicates their love for these programs. Musical because it simulates their beautiful memories and feelings and revives their childhood memory with the noble human and moral values it carries.
It is noteworthy that the Gardenia Choir is a group of professional Syrian women in the field of music and singing who have worked to promote the values of peace and social tolerance by presenting various musical works with artistic and humanitarian goals and creating a space of life and joy by presenting rich artistic works and giving a successful example of collective work and the representation of Syrian women. Active, creative, educated, and active in society.
The choir has many participations inside Syria and won two awards, the best women's choir and the best regional choir at the Middle East Choir Festival in Dubai in 2019.
