Ministry of Finance: Unemployment is expected to fall to 6.5% by the end of the year

The ministry expects a significant drop in the unemployment rate from the current 18.2%.

According to the updated forecasts, if there are no further closures, their number will be a third by the end of 2021, and in the pessimistic scenario, 9.5% will be unemployed.

The unemployment rate fell by a third to 6.5% by the end of the current year, according to updated Ministry of Finance forecasts today (Monday).

The central scenario takes into account that there will be no further closures, while in contrast to the pessimistic scenario the ministry expects 9.5% unemployed.
