Benno Neumair confessed to the killing of his parents Laura Perselli and Peter Neumair
. This was announced by the Bolzano prosecutor who declassified the minutes of the two interrogations during which the suspect, in the presence of the defenders, admitted his responsibilities. The prosecutor has requested a probative incident regarding the ability to understand and will of the suspect, who is in prison in Bolzano. The couple from Bolzano had disappeared on 4 January, their son Benno Neumair was arrested on 29 January and on 6 February the body of Laura Perselli was found in the Adige near Egna. During the interrogation of guarantee, the 30-year-old had made use of the right not to answer, in recent days, through his lawyers, he had instead expressed his willingness to meet the investigators. The searches, suspended in recent days, of the body of Peter Neumair will resume, pending the determinations of the investigating judge and the first results of the probative incident in progress, informs the prosecutor.
