On Monday, Mozambique and Togo received nearly half a million doses.

The first phase of vaccination is starting for health workers and other people at risk for these countries, the spokesperson also said.

On Sunday, the Covax mechanism made it possible

“to deliver 2.2 million doses to Ethiopia, with vaccinations due to start in the coming days.

On Friday, Malawi, Liberia, Sao Tome and Principe and Mali received vaccines, ”

he said.

“Djibouti will start vaccinations on March 11.

And in Uganda, which has received more than 850,000 doses of vaccines via the Covax mechanism, they will begin in stages, ”
