The sit-ins and protests renewed today in many Lebanese regions due to the deteriorating living conditions.

In Beirut, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that a number of protesters blocked the road in front of the Banque du Liban in the Hamra district and the Sports City road with burning tires and waste containers, in addition to cutting the airport tunnels in both directions.

In Tripoli, northern Lebanon, protesters blocked the Jabal Mohsen al-Qobba road with obstacles and stones and the international highway in front of the old mills and the highway in Beddawi in both directions with dust, stones and burning tires, and the Minya highway and other roads in the north were cut off, according to what was reported by the Traffic Control Room.

The areas of Sidon, Koura, Jbeil and Al-Matn witnessed similar protests and road closures with burning tires.

Since October 17, 2019, many Lebanese regions have witnessed demonstrations and sit-ins to protest against the deteriorating living and economic conditions and to demand the fight against corruption in the country.
