A new report by the organization "Up to Here", which tries to combat phenomena that he believes harms Israel's image, refutes, through soldiers' testimonies, the "Breaking the Silence" organization's claims of war crimes committed by IDF soldiers in Operation Eitan.

Brief reminder: The International Court of Justice in The Hague has decided to open an investigation against Israel, on suspicion of committing war crimes the day after the abduction of the three boys, apparently to avoid reference to their abduction and murder.

After Tzuk Eitan, the vouchers distributed a booklet of testimonies containing 111 anonymous soldiers' testimonies, following which IDF officers and soldiers were questioned on suspicion of committing war crimes. In the end, it became clear that the charges had no basis.

At the same time, it is important to note that the military police examined whether the soldiers acted in accordance with the procedures, and it turned out that they did, but the criticism of Breaking the Silence dealt with the procedures themselves, which they claimed were problematic.

The organization launched an international campaign combined with media interviews and opinion columns translated into several languages, which consciously substantiate the accusation that Israel and IDF soldiers committed war crimes on a solid cliff.

The "Up to Here" report focuses on several incidents published by the rival organization, and tries to refute their arguments by claiming that these testimonies of the soldiers were collected in a trending manner. Edit their testimony in a trending way that changed its software.

Yaron Zeev, an armored soldier whose testimonies were published anonymously by Breaking the Silence, described how he and his tank friends fired on his own initiative at innocent people without an operational need - "like in a computer game".

Zeev and his comrades-in-arms were taken for questioning by the military police and there he described how breaking the silence edited his testimony.

In the second focus of the events, Breaking the Silence published five different versions of one incident, in which an elderly Palestinian who was suspiciously approached by a Nahal force fighting in Beit Hanoun was shot and killed.

The testimonies were published separately, so that the reader is led to think that this is a sequence of events and not a single event.

An interrogation of about a dozen officers and soldiers who were at the incident claimed in a report by "Up to Here" that the force acted flawlessly, according to orders.

"The publication of the evidence, although unsubstantiated, has yielded profits for the organization as the donations to the organization as a result of the storm that has been created without a basis - have almost doubled," insist "Until Here".

Breaking the silence was reported: "This is a pile of lies. As former fighters - our criticism has never been against IDF soldiers but against policy and decision-makers.

The rest of the false allegations of 'so far' were dismantled in court, as we did in the face of other proceedings they conducted against us.
