Jordanian Minister of Labor Maan Mardi Abdullah Al-Qatameen resigned from his post today, 24 hours after a government reshuffle made by Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh.

Jordan's Petra News Agency reported that Jordan's King Abdullah II agreed to accept the resignation and assign Ayman Riyadh Saeed Al-Mafleh as Minister of Social Development to manage the Ministry of Labor starting today, without explaining the reasons for the resignation.

Yesterday, the Jordanian king approved the cabinet reshuffle in the Al-Khasawneh government by accepting the resignation of 12 ministers and appointing 10 new ministers.
