On October 5, 2017, two brothers were killed by Mohammed, tried since Thursday by the Assize Court of Essonne. At the time, he and relatives

In the Grande-Borne district in Grigny, filing a complaint, talking to the police, is not part of the reflexes.

On October 5, 2017, around 12:30 p.m., when Modi and Samba Sylla, aged 28 and 26, were shot in the head, rumor quickly spread around the city.

Even before the police arrive on site, a culprit is identified and immediately sought.

It is about Mohammed, who appears since Thursday before the Assize Court of Essonne for assassination, but also Asef, who was with him and appears for complicity in assassination.

It was not until the opening of the trial that Mohammed, 25, admitted to being the author of the shootings.

Executed in Grigny after a game of cards: the chilling personality of the killer

The motive for this double assassination is most futile.

The day before, Mohammed had fallen out with Modi for a stupid story of card game, the small pack, where each one puts small sums.

Mohammed would have been insolent towards Modi, older than him.

The next morning, Modi comes to find Mohammed at the Grande-Borne to put him back in his place, but Asef separates them.

"I'm coming right away, it's not over," Modi would have launched, before returning home, to Grigny 2, and returning accompanied by his brother.

Falling on Asef, they beat him because he refuses to tell them where Mohammed is.

When the latter reappears, he carries a weapon and shoots the two brothers.

"Two Africans came, took him out and the crowd molested him"

Right after shooting, Mohammed calls his father and asks him to come.

Then, he goes to the Borneo café, on the Viry-Châtillon side.

The investigator of the judicial police told the bar: “The manager told us that he was struck by his calm.

Then two Africans came and took him out and the crowd beat him up.

The accused, in blood and on the ground, owes his salvation only to a few adults who protect him and to the intervention of the police.

He will be prescribed ten days of total incapacity for work (ITT).

In another place in the neighborhood, it is the accused's father who is attacked.

When the latter arrives in front of his ex-wife's home, he sees a group of young people at the entrance and walks towards them.

“I asked them what was going on.

They said to me:

You are Muhammad's father.

Your son, where is he?

There are two brothers on the floor

, he told the Assize Court.

And there, I received a blow behind the neck.

Afterwards, it's the black hole.

I woke up in another place, in the arms of a policeman.

"

Flats ransacked

But that's not all.

Asef also fears for his life and that of his family.

He asks his mother and sister to leave the home and the neighborhood immediately.

Is right.

When the police arrived at his home, the apartment was ransacked.

“All the pieces had been turned over, the furniture was topsy-turvy,” says one investigator.

Asef takes off.

His mother takes him by car 200 km away, to a service station where his father picks him up and drives him to his home in the south of France, in Béziers (Hérault).

He will surrender the next day to the police.

In Viry-Chatillon, another family, one of whose members is a long-time friend of Mohammed, receives a visit from about twenty young people, and files a complaint.

Shortly after his incarceration, Mohammed wrote to his mother: “The young people have made a pact.

I hope no one has come to see you.

"

“There is a functioning of neighborhoods that can generate unrest,” notes the investigator.

“Do we often see this kind of event?

», Asks the president of the court.

" No.

What I can regret is that people are going faster than us to do their investigation and determine who is responsible.

And after that, it can go very far.

But, from the moment the investigation started, there was no new incident.

"

The verdict is expected this Friday.
