At about 11:50 pm on Monday (8th), the East Kowloon Regional Traffic Enforcement and Control Unit stopped a suspicious private car during a patrol on Hoi Yuen Road, Kwun Tong, and revealed that the 35-year-old male driver did not have a valid driving license. The private car has not been issued a license.
The police officers later seized 2 Railcoms, 3 packets of suspected "ice" with a total weight of about 53 grams, a plastic bag that can be sealed, and an electronic scale in the vehicle. The drug has a market value of about 32,000 yuan.
The police officer performed a "quick oral fluid test" for the male driver on the spot, and the result was positive. He was suspected of "drug trafficking", "possession of offensive weapons", "driving without a license", "driving an unlicensed vehicle", "Using a vehicle without third party insurance" and "driving under the influence of drugs" were arrested and are being detained for investigation and handed over to the Criminal Investigation Team of Kwun Tong Police District for follow-up.
