Almost 47% disagree with the measures that the Government is taking to face the pandemic.
42.7% have a negative image of
Alberto Fernández
.
And 77.4% think that there was no improvement in February in an item that is considered key: price control.
These numbers, which draw a
complex panorama
for the Frente de Todos, will arrive at the hands of
Máximo
and
Cristina Kirchner
in these hours
.
If they haven't already.
It is the latest survey by
Analogías
, perhaps the closest consulting firm to the Instituto Patria and which has been warning about some problems that other Casa Rosada offices minimize.
The study, carried out by
Clarín
this Monday, included a national survey of
3,025 cases
between March 3 and 5.
The results were turned into a preliminary report of 21 pages, which this newspaper was able to access.
Analogías
was the consulting firm that officially worked for Cristina's senatorial campaign in 2017 and since then it has remained close to that space, with its
epicenter in the province of Buenos Aires
.
Kirchnerism tends to use its studies
as an input
to monitor the usual current data (such as images of the main leaders or economic expectations), but also to test
issues that concern it in particular
, such as price increases, rates or the relationship with Justice.
And it even raises questions about sensitive issues in debate and possible measures: a few months ago, for example, he asked what people thought about making the so-called tax on the rich permanent.
The March survey report begins with five
"Axes of interpretation"
, which would be the main conclusions of the study.
He lists them like this:
1. Global stability compared to the end of January.
2. Sharp improvement in vaccine confidence.
3. Awareness about the complexity of the health picture.
4. Slight improvement in economic expectations in line with the development of high-frequency activity indicators and fiscal data.
5. Global limitation due to mediocrity in terms of real wages and poor evaluation of price control.
Pandemic Chapter
Then it begins to reel off the
first tables of results
, focusing on the pandemic.
Among other things, it warns that:
-
68.1%
believe that
people comply with
the prevention, care and social distancing measures of Covid
between little and nothing
.
-
Those who agree (48.7%) and disagree with respect to the
measures that the Government is taking
to face the coronavirus
are divided
almost equally
.
-
56.3%
consider that there are many and many
possibilities of being infected
(he / she or a family member).

-

second wave of infections
when autumn starts.
-
60%

confidence in the safety of the vaccines
that are being applied in the country.
-
87.5%
agree with the Government's decision to
vaccinate teachers
before the start of face-to-face classes.
The image of the President and the economy
As the report progresses, perhaps the
most sensitive data for the President appears
.
For some specific questions about him and his actions, but also for criticism of an economy that, without innocence, the poll attributes to the "Government of Alberto Fernández."
Some examples:
- The
image of the president
combines
56% positive and 42.7% negative
.
It represents a slight improvement over February, but it is the
second worst record
since he took office.
According to
Analogías
, in March of last year Fernández had 93.8% of opinions in favor and only 4.8% against.

scandal
.
Although by little, they surpass those with a positive gaze (45%).
-
40%
believe that
"the economic policy of the Government of Alberto Fernández" is "adjustment"
, against 27.7% who consider it to "boost consumption" (a mark of Kirchnerism).
The rest do not know.

"Inflation"
remains the
main concern
of those surveyed, with 29.8%;
followed by "unemployment" (18%) and "catching the virus" (15.8%).

In the midst of all this complex context for the economy, a suggestive question appears: "Do
you think that the Government should order a general increase in salaries
on behalf of parities so that its purchasing power recovers as soon as possible?".
Predictably,
72.4% answered yes
.
A similar percentage is in favor of the project to reduce the impact of the income tax, which this Tuesday will begin to be debated in Congress.
In parallel, and to complete the report, there are a couple of definitions that leave
the opposition
in
an uncomfortable position
(61.1% believe that they collaborate between "little" and "nothing with the Government"),
large businessmen
(for 67 % are "speculating on the prices of basic products") and
corporations
(54.4% think that they "pressure or influence the Judiciary").
