They are women, mothers of families who have decided to leave their homeland to save their children from the clutches of organized crime and thus provide them with a better quality of life in other distant lands.
Many of them have the goal of reaching the United States.
That is why they are in the border city of Tijuana, Baja California, and they tell us what it means to be a migrant woman on International Women's Day.
