The Hong Kong Government implements the development of the MTR North Link Project. According to the preliminary land use budget of the Planning Department, it is expected that the completion of the North Link and the Xintian Station will bring opportunities in the future. The Xintian/Lok Ma Chau Hub will reserve 33 hectares of land for residential purposes, with a plot ratio ranging from 3.6 to 7 times , A total of more than 31,000 residential units can be built in the area, and public housing accounts for 70%.
