Tel Aviv District Court Judge Andrei Khamniuk, who was convicted of an indecent act by force against an 84-year-old Bat Yam resident, was sentenced to eight years in prison, suspended and sentenced to NIS 85,000.
According to the indictment, during the last October, the assailant was eating stray cats near a house in the city, when suddenly Chanyuk appeared behind her, grabbed her hands and began dragging her along the path near the building, while she resisted his actions and tried to free himself from his grip.

As part of the conduct of the proceedings, the defendant admitted and was convicted in a plea bargain for an indecent act by force, the parties agreed on the punishment but disagreed as to the amount of compensation.
The judge noted in the sentence the difficult situation of the complainant following the Davar incident, thereby explaining the monetary compensation he determined.
