Al-Hasakah-Sana
The poems presented by the female poets participating in the meeting hosted by the Cultural Center in Al-Hasakah carried the concerns and issues of Syrian women.

The poems presented images of the struggle of the Syrian woman alongside the man in the conditions of the war on terror, their confrontation with these conditions and their important role in building generations and sacrificing their lives in defense of the soil of the homeland and the state of nostalgia and longing for their children in foreign countries.
Culture Director Abdul Rahman Al-Sayed indicated in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the poetic meeting comes as part of the Directorate’s accompaniment to International Women's Day, stressing that the Syrian woman is a symbol of generosity and goodness and a man’s sister in building and defending the homeland.
