The President of the Republic has taken the decision to allow the archives services to proceed as of tomorrow with the declassifications of documents covered by the secrecy of National Defense according to the process known as 'cardboard demarcation' up to the files of the year 1970 included

Clearly, this means that documents will no longer have to be declassified manually sheet by sheet, but that they can be declassified by file.
This considerably speeds up the procedure.
"Stepping over" a "doubly interesting" period
Until now, this measure was reserved for elements prior to the year 1954. From now on, the period covered is "

" in the eyes of the Presidency of the Republic.
First, because it meets the 50-year deadline set by the Heritage Code.
