At about 5 o'clock in the morning on Sunday (March 7), an Audi private car driving along the Tolo Highway towards Tai Po reportedly crashed and crashed while passing near Tai Po Kau.

However, when the police rushed to the report, they found that the car was empty and the driver did not know where to end; the private car involved was damaged, and fortunately no casualties were caused.

In the afternoon of the same day, a man surnamed Ho (26 years old) reported to the police that his private car was stolen from Tai Wo East Branch Road, Tai Po.

It is understood that the police found after investigation that the license plate number reported by He Nan coincided with the vehicle involved in the traffic accident. It is not ruled out that someone fled the scene after the accident and subsequently reported a false case.

Until yesterday (9th) afternoon, the police arrested the man surnamed He on suspicion of "failure to stop after the accident," "no details provided after the accident," and "false report of a crime." He will be detained overnight for investigation.

The Criminal Investigation Team of the Tai Po Police District is investigating the ins and outs of the incident.
