For 17 years, Günter Hohenleitner looked after the affairs of the community of Türkenfeld as the town hall office manager.

Now he's retired.

Türkenfeld - In 1973 Günter Hohenleitner began his professional career in public administration as an employee in the non-technical service at the state capital of Munich.

As an employee of the city, he went through various departments from the collection office to the treasury and tax office to the social bourgeoisie.

When Helga Bassmann, the manager at the time in the town hall of Turkey, retired in 2004, Hohenleitner seized the opportunity.

He applied for the post.

And the then mayor Georg Klaß hired him in October 2004.

However, Hohenleitner had to resign his mandate as elected councilor.

"It was an honor for me to have been active in various functions for my home community," says the Türkenfelder.

"I am particularly proud of the construction of the new sports hall and the creation of a fiber optic network in the municipality, which I was able to oversee."

Mayor Emanuel Staffler said goodbye to Hohenleitner.

"I would like to say a big thank you for the trusting cooperation and wish Günter all the best for the future." He is particularly pleased that he is still available to us when he and his knowledge are needed, "said the town hall chief.

It is already clear who will succeed Günter Hohenleitner.

Renate Mang follows him.

A corresponding municipal council resolution was passed last autumn in the interests of a sustainable handover of the tasks.
