The new crown pneumonia epidemic has not stopped. The hotel tenants in the Huayuan Building in Tsim Sha Tsui were diagnosed a few days ago. The government raided the closure of the area yesterday (8th) night. The operation was completed at 11:30 this (9th) morning. 500 people have submitted samples but no one has been diagnosed.

Law enforcement officers found that about 10 people had not undergone compulsory testing and have issued compulsory testing orders to them.

Yesterday, 260 households did not respond. When 25 households were expected to be vacant units, the government hopes that residents who did not respond will contact the government for testing as soon as possible after seeing the notice posted by the government.

The government closed the area at 8:30 last night, restricting people in the Huayuan Building in Tsim Sha Tsui to stay in their premises and undergo compulsory testing.

In addition, the government also issued a mandatory testing announcement yesterday. Anyone who has been in the above-mentioned building for more than two hours between February 23 and March 8 this year must also undergo mandatory testing on or before March 10.

The government announced the completion of the operation at about 7 am this morning. The enforcement operation was completed at 11:30 am. It was found that about 10 people had not undergone compulsory testing and had issued compulsory testing orders to them.

The government once again sent personnel to visit 260 households that did not answer the door yesterday, including about 100 rooms in the hotel. After investigation, it is initially believed that about 25 households, including about 22 rooms in the hotel, are vacant units; another 53 households, including the hotel, are vacant. Residents of about 22 rooms inside answered the door today and were able to prove that they had undergone compulsory testing.

The government hopes that residents who have not answered the door will contact the government for inspection as soon as possible after seeing the notice posted by the government to rule out the risk that the virus may have a chance to spread in the community.
