The fever clinic for testing suspected corona cases is closed, there will probably not be a replacement.
Now the doctors are in demand.
Wolfratshausen - Anyone who has symptoms such as fever should be tested for the corona virus.
Until the end of February, this was possible in Wolfratshausen in a specially set up infection clinic, also known as a fever clinic, at the district clinic.
It was - as announced - closed on February 26th, said the spokeswoman for the district office, Sabine Schmid.
There will probably not be a replacement.
Wolfratshauser vaccination center is to be expanded
The closure took place "because the demand had decreased and at the same time very strong streams of visitors came to the vaccination center".
One problem at the location: Due to the large crowd, "points of contact were to be feared and should be avoided".
Potentially ill people and those willing to be vaccinated had to go to the same facility.
In addition, the premises are to be used for an expansion of the Wolfratshauser vaccination center.
New practice rooms "are currently not available or in prospect"
When the closure became known, the district office, together with the medical coordinator in the district, Dr.
Jörg Lohse, announced that he wants to look for alternatives.
These are "currently not available or in prospect," says Schmid.
The examination and treatment of sick people is now taking place again in the doctor's offices, "who shouldn't be overwhelmed by this in view of the end of the infection season".
Corona tests of people with symptoms take place in the doctor's offices, "the test center in Bad Tölz is available for everyone else".
