Detention of a facility that deceives and forges shampoo brands and hair preparations in Lattakia

Control of elements of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Lattakia, a facility in the industrial zone of Jableh, which manufactures “shampoo, keratin, an oil bath, Vaseline and conditioner” and forges international brand names and puts German franchise phrases.

The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Lattakia, Samer Al-Sousi, said in a statement that large quantities of materials manufactured with different names were seized, amounting to about 1500 boxes of various types, in addition to more than 10,000 empty boxes prepared for packing, mixing and blending machines, a printing machine for foreign names, and a packaging machine.

Al-Sousi indicated that the equipment and goods were confiscated, the facility was sealed, and the violator was referred to the appropriate court.

Yesterday, the control patrols organized 43 supply controls that affected a warehouse for smuggling food flour, a car that smuggled bread, and bakeries for offenses of producing bad bread, lack of compliance with working hours, lack of weight of the bundle, failure to announce prices, lack of possession of an invoice, possession of unknown source and expired materials.
