Dozens of rationing controls in Lattakia, Hama, Tartous and Deir Ezzor

Damascus-SANA organized the internal trade and consumer protection directorates in the governorates of Tartous, Latakia, Hama and Deir Ezzor

The directorates of internal trade and consumer protection in the governorates of Tartous, Lattakia, Hama and Deir Ezzor have organized dozens of rationing adjustments against commercial activities, bakeries, and violating fuel stations, during their follow-up to the work of the markets.

In Tartous, members of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection organized 29 supply controls that affected catering bakeries and the dependents of the sale of bread who trade in food supplies and tamper with the smart card system, fuel stations and violating stores, which included trafficking in expired and unknown materials.

The directorate’s personnel also closed 3 fuel stations in the Tartous and Safita area for committing violations of tampering with the smart card system and trafficking in gasoline and diesel fuel and the shortage of kilograms, and a restaurant in Safita for committing a violation of the use of catering bread in restaurants, and the closure of 8 shops in the city of Tartous, Baniyas, Dreikish, and Sheikh Badr for committing offenses of not possessing bills for the purchase of materials. Of unknown source, possession of expired materials, trafficking in them, and trafficking in relief materials, which were sealed with red wax and all seizures were referred to the appropriate court in the first place.

And in Lattakia, the elements of the Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Directorate closed a fuel station in Al-Haffah region, in violation of the shortage in the measured quantity of a gasoline pump meter.

In the same context, the Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Lattakia, Samer Soussi, explained that the members of the Latakia Supervision Authority organized, during the past 24 hours, 38 supply controls that affected a number of bakeries and those accredited for violations of trade in catering bread.

In Deir Ezzor, consumer protection agents, in cooperation with Al-Thawra District Police Department, seized 600 kilograms of dry ration bread prepared as fodder. Two rationing seizures were organized against violators, seizing the car and the quantity mentioned, and referring the violators present to the judiciary.

In Hama, the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection organized 58 rationing controls on Monday and Tuesday, 17 of which occurred in bakeries with various violations.

The officers also organized 11 supply controls, including 6 controls on fuel stations, 3 controls for violating expired foodstuffs and 2 unknown sources, in addition to 30 supply controls that included charging an extra price instead of services, not announcing prices, advertising an excessive price, charging an excessive profit rate and not granting Regular invoices by wholesalers to retail vendors.

And 12 samples of foodstuff were withdrawn to demonstrate their conformity with the standard specifications.
