Increase the annual cash gift for the families of martyrs and wounded who have an honor card to 50 thousand pounds

The Ministry of Defense issued a decision to increase the annual cash gift that was distributed by the Political Administration to the families of martyrs and wounded who obtained an honor card by five times what it was previously, and to include the families of the missing who hold the honor card with this gift.

The ministry explained that according to this increase, which represents a new bid from the bids of the President, Lieutenant General Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, the value of the gift has become 50,000 Syrian Pounds for the families of the martyrs, the total disability wounded, and the missing who have an honor card instead of 10,000 Syrian Pounds. On a deficit rate of 40 percent and above 30,000 Syrian pounds instead of 6000 Syrian pounds.

The Ministry indicated that in order to reduce the burden of receiving the gift, it will be distributed in all governorates and regions through current accounts and ATMs, equally to those entitled to a pension through the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Affairs on May 6 of each year on the occasion of the Martyrs' Day.
