The journalist Jorge Lanata received the medical discharge this Tuesday, after the surgery he had undergone on Monday at the University Hospital of the Favaloro Foundation.
"Due to the favorable clinical evolution that Mr. Jorge Lanata has presented, after the treatments carried out yesterday (on Monday), he has been discharged from hospital to continue his treatment at home," the medical institution reported in an informative part, signed by the head of the renal unit Pablo Raffaele and the medical director Matías Bosco.
The PPT driver is treated for a cardiac arrhythmia, and angioplasty had been performed on his left leg "and subsequent revascularization due to his peripheral arterial disease," according to Favaloro in previous communications.
Lanata will continue her treatment at her home and waiting to resume her work.
