Against the background of the lengthening of the queues of those entitled to public housing waiting to receive an apartment, it was decided to establish a team that will coordinate the government's policy on the subject.
At the request of the Minister for Community Strengthening and Advancement, MK Orly Levy Abacis, the Ministry of Housing was tasked with formulating a multi-year plan for the benefit of those entitled to public housing, including addressing the victims of the Corona crisis and increasing the supply of public housing by incorporating public housing.
The decision stipulates that these issues will be allocated resources already in the 2021 budget.
