Israel Railways will return to activity on weekends next Friday, after half a year of hiatus - this is what Transport Minister Miri Regev instructed today (Tuesday) against the background of the wave of easing the closure.

On Fridays the trains will run from 06:00 to 14:00, and on Saturday evenings from 21:00 to midnight, with a frequency of once an hour in each direction.



At this stage, the train will operate on only four lines: Beer Sheva, Central Herzliya and the lines between Nahariya, Beit She'an and Carmiel to Haifa.

In accordance with the schedules of the works to electrify the tracks in Lod, Beit Shemesh, Lod and Rehovot stations, and direct trains on the Beer Sheva-Tel Aviv, Rehovot-Binyamina and Beit Shemesh-Tel Aviv lines will also join later.

The Beer Sheva Center-Herzliya line will pass through the Beer Sheva North University stations, Lehavim-Rahat, Kiryat Gat, Kiryat Malachi-Yoav, Mazkeret Batya, Ramla, Lod and all Tel Aviv stations, and the Nahariya-Haifa Hof Hacarmel line will stop in Acre, Kiryat Motzkin, Kiryat Haim, Hutsot Hamifratz, Central Bay, Haifa Merkaz Hashmona and Haifa Bat Galim.



The Beit She'an-Haifa Hof Hacarmel line will pass through Afula, Rafael Eitan, Migdal Haemek, Kfar Baruch, Yokneam, Kfar Yehoshua, Central Bay, Haifa, Central Hashmona and Haifa Bat Galim.

The Carmiel-Haifa Hof Hacarmel line will stop at the interim stations Ahihud, Kiryat Motzkin, Kiryat Haim, Hutsot Hamifratz, Central Bay, Haifa Merkaz Hashmona and Haifa Bat Galim.
