A foreign citizen in his 30s was arrested this morning (Tuesday) in south Tel Aviv, on suspicion of stabbing to death another person in his apartment, also a foreign citizen about 30. The man's death was determined on the spot after resuscitation attempts.
Police have begun investigating the circumstances of the case.
"The wounded man was unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing and suffered stab wounds to his body," said MDA paramedic Ronen Cohen, who was called to the scene.
Police said the two, citizens of African countries, apparently lived in the same apartment. "All directions of the investigation are being examined now," police said, raising the speculation that the two were drunk.
