The Russian Direct Investment Fund and the Italian Aden Pharma Company signed an agreement regarding the production of the "Sputnik V" vaccine in Italy.
Sputnik quoted a statement issued by the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce as saying today, “For the first time in Europe, an agreement has been signed regarding the production of the“ Sputnik V ”vaccine in Italy, indicating that the launch of the local production of the vaccine will start next July.
The statement added that "10 million doses of the vaccine will be produced by the end of this year," noting that this agreement will create new jobs and fully control the drug production process.
The Italian Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, announced the day before yesterday, his country's readiness to discuss the issue of using the Russian "Sputnik V" vaccine against the Corona virus and regulating its potential production in his country.
