The largest shipping company from the United States will arrive in Israel this May and at the beginning of June will start operating cruises from the port of Haifa. This morning, the company announced the prices of the green cruises that will receive only vaccinated and recovering people.
The shortest cruise lasting 3 nights will start at $ 499 per person in a double room + 2 children.
The 5-night cruise will start at $ 899 per person in the same vehicle and the long 7-night cruise will start at $ 1,215 per person in the same vehicle.
According to estimates by Snorama and Aviation Connections, which market the cruises, 28 cruises will depart from the port of Haifa this summer.
A little more than 2,500 Israelis are expected to board each cruise, with the ship being able to accommodate double the number, but due to the corona, a decision was made to reduce the number of passengers.
Cruises will pass through Rhodes, Santorini, Mykonos, Chania, Athens and Limassol.
The restaurants, entertainment events and activities on board will be included in the price.
On the ship there are several restaurants with different styles, cultural performances, huge pools and even a karting track.
The company emphasizes that there will be kosher food, a synagogue that will be operated for the benefit of the conservative public and many products that will be purchased from Israeli suppliers.
The crew on the ship will be mostly foreign and the company undertakes that all crew members and all passengers over the age of 16 will be vaccinated or recovering.
Children will be able to rise through negative corona tests.
It is important to remember that children will have to go into solitary confinement back in the country as they cannot be vaccinated.
The isolation at this stage is home isolation, which will make it easier for the parents to some extent.
Anyone who has returned from abroad and has not been vaccinated or recovered is required to have 10 days of isolation subject to two tests or 14 days of isolation without tests.
