Soledad Quereilhac, the wife of Buenos Aires governor Axel Kicillof, said this Wednesday that "Beatriz Sarlo has had no other recourse but to cackle lies in the media" and denied having offered her the Sputnik V vaccine against the coronavirus.

"The truth is that, to overact her honesty, Beatriz Sarlo has had no other recourse than to cackle lies in the media," Quereilhac questioned through a letter that he released in the face of the controversy that was generated by the statements made by the writer in Comodoro Py.

Kicillof's wife also regretted that it all started with the public statements in which Sarlo "spoke of proposals 'under the table'" and that now he not only pointed to her as part of those efforts but also "ended up involving" the owner of the publishing house Siglo XXI Carlos Díaz.

"He spoke of proposals 'under the table' and with this he not only sowed doubts about the vaccination process as a whole, but, above all -and here the most unforgivable-, he ended up involving Carlos Díaz, a person of good, respected and loved by a large part of the Argentine intellectual field. And incidentally, it also made me dirty, attributing acts of corruption and nepotism that I never committed in my life, "lamented Quereilhac.

In the letter he made public, Quereilhac added: "In light of his self-perception as a person who 'has ethics', we can only hope that he will be rectified. Meanwhile, I still cannot decide between the penalty for his enormous clumsiness or the bewilderment before their bad faith. "

Quereilhac also denied Sarlo again, pointing out that she "does not" have the "power to offer vaccines to anyone."

It is that, according to the statement that the writer made before the Justice, Kicillof's wife was the one who took steps forward, through Carlos Díaz, to offer him the possibility of accessing the medication within the framework of a campaign to clear up doubts about the effectiveness of Sputnik V.

"I do not have the power to offer vaccines to anyone. I am not a government official of the Province of Buenos Aires. I was not vaccinated yet and I am waiting my turn like everyone else. Not my mother, not my mother-in-law, not any family member or A friend or close friend did not receive the vaccine either. Everyone is waiting their turn, as appropriate. We do not promote or participate in any privilege or any 'vip' treatment (acronym of undeniable nonsense, in addition) ", Quereilhac remarked.

Kicillof's wife also asked: "Why would I offer the vaccine to Beatriz Sarlo, a person with whom I have no relationship or relationship?"

Followed, he said that "the accusation lacks logic, in addition to being unsupported or based on evidence."
