The intellectual and journalist Beatriz Sarlo assured this Wednesday that it was the wife of Governor Axel Kicillof, Soledad Quereilhac, who offered to get vaccinated in advance, amid the investigation into the VIP vaccination scandal set up by the Ministry of Health.
Sarlo testified before federal judge María Eugenia Capuchetti who summoned her after she publicly told that she had been offered access to Sputnik V "from under the table" at the beginning of the vaccination plan.
"The offer was at the end of January through my Siglo XXI editor, Carlos Díaz. From what I understood, they were vaccinating to get photos that would persuade people," he told prosecutor Eduardo Taiano and Judge Capuchetti.
The intellectual added that her response was that she is domiciled in the City of Buenos Aires and that she preferred to wait for her turn.
"They offered me the vaccine under the table and I said: 'Never, I'd rather die from drowning from Covid," Sarlo had said weeks ago on the program A Dos Voces that is broadcast on
TN.
