The lawyer of this 45-year-old man, Me Étienne Noël, will also file before the administrative court of Lille "

by this weekend

" a double request for expert summary to claim the appointment of a forensic pathologist and a ballistics expert.

According to the Boulogne-sur-Mer prosecutor's office, the complaint, revealed by

Mediapart

and

Liberation

, was filed on January 25 and transmitted to the IGPN on February 18.

She reports that the CRS "

fired

" on a group of ten migrants "

with weapons resembling LBDs

" (defense bullet launchers), after the first "

tear gas canisters

" to disperse them while they were at their “

life camp

 ” in Calais on November 11, 2020.

"

The investigation will first have to determine which CRS company was engaged that day and check the follow-up diaries to be filled out during any use of LBD

", specified to AFP Pascal Marconville, prosecutor of Boulogne-sur -Wed.

According to Me Noël, "

the shots from LBD were made at 8-9 m, well below the regulatory distance, moreover at the level of the head

 ".

"

The shock was extremely violent

" and this man, who applied for political asylum in France and now resides in a home in Calais, "

suffered numerous fractures, to his forehead, eye sockets and teeth

 " .

"

We want to turn the weapon of law against the state

 ," he concluded.

This accusation of LBD shootings in the face was brought on November 17 in an open letter from Eritrean migrants in Calais, circulated by the NGO Human Rights Observers.

The CRS sometimes act above the law;

a democratic country cannot be considered as such if it uses physical force in this way,

 ”they wrote in particular.

Questioned by AFP, the prefecture of Pas-de-Calais had deemed

 these accusations

"

serious

", and requested a "

very precise report from the departmental director of public security

 ".

On the day of November 11, she explained that the CRS secured an intervention by firefighters providing assistance to a migrant injured during a brawl when they were stoned.

It is "

to restore calm

" that use had been made "

of several tear gas canisters and five LBD shots

 ".
