The expressions of Judge Juan Carlos Gemignani first generated the rejection of his colleagues, judges Ana María Figueroa and Ángela Ledesma, and now also of Vice President Cristina Kirchner, who remarked on Twitter that he does not come out of his "stupor" at the chambermaid's sayings .
According to the sanction requirement of the judges that La Nación announced, Gemignani wrote in an institutional chat a message considered offensive in the framework of Women's
Day
: “
Happy Day to all!
Especially for criminals !!!
We will only advance in equality when the rights of criminals are recognized and they are punished. "
Cristina Kirchner added her rejection of Gemignani's message through Twitter: "'Happy delinquents day.' I can't get out of my stupor: a Cassation judge, who recently locked up a secretary in an office, now goes to this way to her female colleagues on International Women's Day. Until when? Or are they waiting for me to hit someone? "

I cannot get out of my stupor: a judge of Cassation, who recently locked a secretary in an office, now addresses his female colleagues in this way on International Women's Day.
Even when?
Or are they expecting me to hit one of them?

The sanction mentioned by the vice president in her message dates back to June 2019, when Gemignani was punished with a fine of 35 percent of his salary.
The Council of the Magistracy made that decision unanimously, three years after the judge ordered the arrest of secretary María Amelia Expucci for, allegedly, refusing to carry out an inventory of a box with documents.
Expucci was locked up for an hour and a half in a police station and was released after the mediation of federal judge Marcelo Martínez De Giorgi.
After the episode, the secretary denounced Gemignani for "aggravated illegal deprivation of liberty."

On the other hand, the repudiation of Cristina Kirchner occurs six days after her declaration in the Future Dollar case.
Over the course of fifty minutes, the ex-president accused the Judiciary of being "a rotten and perverse system" and spoke of "lawfare" due to the processes that involve her.
There, the vice president requested his dismissal, an objective that days later senators from the Frente de Todos highlighted in a harsh statement.
