.: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made serious allegations against the British royal family in an interview with US talk lady Oprah Winfrey.
The reactions from the palace and the closest family members were eagerly awaited.
Queen Elizabeth II has already made a statement to speak (see first report).
Prince Charles was also approached by reporters about the allegations of his youngest son and daughter-in-law during his first appearance since it was broadcast on American television on Sunday evening (local time).
His reaction was surprising.

, Queen Elizabeth's eldest son visited a Covid-19 vaccination station in London on Tuesday March 9th.
There he was asked about the interview by reporters who were present.
But his answer was more than brief: The heir to the throne was silent and went on without comment.
As the British Royal reporter Richard Palmer tweeted, Prince Charles is said to have laughed when asked for his opinion on the interview: "He giggled and went on." During the visit, according to
Sky News, he was in a
good mood and with a vaccine recipient even joked.
He has already received his vaccine "because I may be a little older".

: London / Los Angeles - It's the TV highlight of the week: After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle turned their backs on the British royal family with their Megxit, they gave US talk show host Oprah Winfrey an explosive interview.
In it, they revealed details of life in the palace, which resembled a golden cage for the former actress and the Queen's grandson.
They struggled with racism, Meghan suffered suicidal thoughts and the couple criticized the lack of support from the royal family.
Since then, it has been eagerly awaited what reactions the interview sometimes triggered in the palace.
Now Queen Elizabeth II reported personally for the revelations.

"We are saddened to see the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan," said the Queen in a statement from Buckhingham Palace on Tuesday evening.
Two days after the broadcast on US television, the Queen responded to the interview.
“Even if some memories can be different”, the accusations of racism in particular would be taken “very seriously”.

Her statement goes on to say: "The questions raised, especially those relating to racism, are worrying." The allegations are to be discussed in private with the royal family.
Finally, the monarch emphasized that her grandson Prince Harry, Meghan and great-grandson Archie will always remain "beloved members of the family".

What effects the interview will have on Prince Harry and his family and on Buckingham Palace is currently not foreseeable.
Speaking to Oprah Winfrey, Harry and Meghan refrained from personally attacking members of the royal family.
On her part, too, there were positive words for the family members of the closest circle.
In addition to the revelations, the couple also revealed the gender of child number two.
