The historic visit is expected to take place 12 days before the Israeli elections.

Netanyahu will meet with the heir apparent against the background of tensions between Israel and its allies in the region vis-à-vis Iran, while everyone is waiting to see if negotiations between the United States and the Islamic Republic will resume on the nuclear agreement.

Netanyahu's visit to the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain was originally scheduled for February 9-11, but was postponed due to the closure in Israel at the time.

It was only at the beginning of the month that another historic event took place in the framework of relations between the two countries: Muhammad Mahmoud Fatah Ali al-Hajah was sworn in as the first ambassador of the Emirates to Israel. According to al-Hajah, "The Abrahamic Treaty will be remembered as a shining beacon in human history for all peace-seekers and as one that created a new reality. The establishment of diplomatic relations paved the way for creating space for ties between the two peoples through tourism and cooperation "These ties and bring cultures and peoples together."
