As part of the government's plan to expand citizen service centers and simplify procedures for services provided to citizens, Damascus Governorate today inaugurated a new center in the Qanawat area in the Channel Services Department building on an area of ​​200 square meters.

The center includes a reception hall, a floor system, and 11 windows, and provides civil and judicial registry services, non-employee, real estate interests and lease contracts, provided that its services expand later to include the provisional registry directorate, planning and urban planning data, and the Health Affairs Directorate sealing the health card.

Governor of Damascus, Engineer Adel Al-Olabi explained in a statement to reporters that the center has been rehabilitated as part of the governorate’s plan to improve and develop the centers ’reality, upgrade their work and accommodate larger numbers of auditors, indicating that the opening of new centers is an important step to simplify procedures and facilitate services directly related to auditors.

Al-Olabi indicated that the governorate has equipped the center with the solar energy system to continue to provide services around the clock to complete transactions and manage the affairs of citizens and not be affected by the power outage, and in the event that the solar energy stops, the electrical generators provided by the service centers are used.

Director of Citizen Service Centers in the governorate, Eng. Luay Alloush, in turn, explained that the main objective of the governorate opening new centers is to reduce the burden on the citizen and provide him with optimal services, pointing to the recent opening of several centers, including the electronic services center in the main center in the governorate building and a center in the Directorate of Decree 66 and centers It was rehabilitated and expanded like the square and the channels, in accordance with the necessary standards for the centers, including reception halls, front offices, a floor system, archiving, consultant and banking niches.

The fifteen citizen service centers that provided more than 617 thousand services during the past year are distributed in Yusef al-Azma Square in the governorate building, which includes the main center and the electronic services center in the old city of Damascus in the office of Amber and the services departments of Kafr Sousa, Mezzeh and al-Muhajirin in the White Bridge, destroyed the country, the channels, the square, and the Damascus Finance Directorate The provisional record is in the Seven Bahrat, the Burial Office at Bab Al-Musalla and the Directorate of Implementation of Legislative Decree 66 in Mezze, in addition to the new Al-Sham Center, which is being rehabilitated to expand its expansion and Junod Al-Assad area.
