Yesterday it was approved to attach four new destinations to which direct flights will be operated.

Now, there are direct flights from Israel to 11 destinations and they are: Frankfurt, New York, Paris, London, Kiev, Hong Kong, Toronto, Moscow, Athens, Addis Ababa and Rome.

Israelis can enter without the need for isolation only to Addis Ababa and Kiev out of all those 11 destinations to which direct flights will be operated.

In practice, Israelis can also enter London, Athens and New York, but isolation is needed.

In London the isolation is more rigid, in Athens it is relatively short and in New York it is hardly enforced and it is possible to get out of it after four days using negative corona tests.

Many Israelis choose to move to other destinations in the United States, where isolation is not required.

Despite the same restrictions in most countries to which there are direct flights, Israelis can enter quite a few countries through tests only or much less stringent restrictions.

The list of countries that accept Israelis includes: Turkey, Bulgaria, Georgia (vaccinated), Seychelles (vaccinated), USA, Mexico, Panama, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Croatia, Serbia, United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Medelia, Ukraine Bahamas, Brazil, Colombia and more.

Ofer Kish, CEO of the Lufthansa Group in Israel, commented on the interesting trend in recent weeks and said in an interview with Israel Today:

There are very many business people who have returned to fly and continue through Frankfurt to many destinations in Europe and the world.

"Obviously these are not numbers you have known in the past, it is still very far from that, but there is an awakening, people are returning to travel and the demand is very high, the flights are full."

It is important to remember that each country has the conditions of entry into it, most countries require the presentation of a negative result for corona tests.

Before purchasing a flight ticket, check all the required approvals, as the guidelines change daily.
