After several juvenile sentences, a young Tölzer was convicted for the first time under adult criminal law - for the illegal acquisition of drugs.

Bad Tölz / Wolfratshausen - A young Tölz (22) person felt the difference between juvenile and adult criminal law right from his first hearing before the criminal judge.

In his previous five court appointments, which he experienced as a teenager (among other things for theft, drugs and assault), the judiciary had tried to educate the young man with judicial instructions and, most recently, two leisure arrests.

Without sustainable success.

"The previous sanctions have not had the slightest effect," judge Helmut Berger stated.

The defendant sat in front of him for the first time in the dock.

He was sentenced to ten months suspended prison sentence in four cases for illicit acquisition of narcotic drugs and possession in one case.

Bought marijuana and a mixture of cocaine

At the beginning of last year, the defendant bought marijuana and small amounts of cocaine mixture from a friend several times.

The police got on his trail as part of a telephone surveillance of his dealer.

"There is nothing to be said about that, that's true," the 22-year-old admitted the allegations.

He was friends with the dealer.

The quality of the drugs - he had acquired around 100 grams in total on four occasions - was good.

"It has already shown its effect," said the accused.

Urgent warning from the court

He's been turning off drugs for about a month.

Which is why he was not convinced of the counseling interviews that the prosecutor requested as a suspended sentence.

"I don't need it for myself," he said when the judge asked, who followed the prosecutor's request with his ten-month sentence.

In addition to the talks with Caritas, the court refrained from imposing a monetary requirement on the currently unemployed Tölzer.

Instead, Berger condemned the young man "to refrain from any consumption of illegal narcotics and to prove this through screenings upon request".

In conclusion, he explained the meaning of the term probation to the defendant: "If something relevant happens during that time, you have to serve ten months."
