When the two doses of Pfizer's vaccine are administered, the biologic is capable of neutralizing any of the COVID-19 variants discovered so far, says Dr. Alejandro Cané, head of Scientific Affairs for Pfizer's Vaccines Division.
The expert adds that the laboratory conducts studies to determine whether it is necessary to vaccinate people with a third dose in the future, as a reinforcement against new variants.
